Nei Pori is located on the mainland in the north-east of Greece. It is conveniently located about 45 minutes from Thessaloniki.

Nei Pori was founded by the inhabitants of the mountain village Pori, who fled from the cold of the mountain region, on the shores of the Thermaic Gulf in the early 80s.
